Prof George Lau recently featured in the inauguration of a new Peruvian Nuevo Sol coin
The inauguration was held in Lima, Peru on 18 June 2026, at the country's national reserve bank, the Banco Central de Reserva del Peru.
Prof Lau helped in the selection and official summary of the image, which now proudly displays a noblewoman of the ancient Recuay culture (AD 100-700), in the ritual act of libation.
