In the Apa Kingdom of Nigeria, Professor Anne Haour, has been honoured with the distinguished title of Chief Onigegeara, meaning 'A Wonderful Writer,' for her exceptional contributions to African archaeology and history. The recognition comes from His Royal Majesty Oba Dr. Oyekan Adekanmi Possi III, the First Class King of the Apa Kingdom (Alapa of Apa) and Chairman of All Titleholders in Badagry, Nigeria.
